I’m Fatima Zahrae, a mixed media and sketchbook artist based in Rabat. I’m passionate about painting, hiking and journaling.
Whether working in the studio or painting outside, I explore freely, shifting between mediums and surfaces to match whatever best reflects the story or emotion I want to tell.
My art practice serve as a way to slow down, notice more, and stay open to inspiration wherever it appears and I’m drawn to how places, objects, and moments feel.
My sketchbooks are filled with drawings, paintings, and collages inspired by hikes, everyday life and cherished memories.
Lately, I’ve been embracing a looser, more playful approach to my practice, allowing curiosity to lead the way. My work invites viewers to slow down and notice the beauty in the ordinary.
Alongside my personal creative practice, I also offer painting and travel journaling workshops.
